Visiting Sailors

Dock Policy House Rules

Please feel free to contact the Sailing Director at (610) 405-5419 or [email protected] if you have any questions.

CYCCM offers reciprocity with recognized yacht clubs in the United States and around the world. Our dock facilities include seasonal water and hot showers. We offer dockside berthing for $2.50/foot per night. CYCCM does not have moorings for rent. Docks are in the water from late May to late September. Water depth at the dock is approximately 5 feet at MLW. Tidal ranges vary throughout the year. Please check tide charts for tide range when visiting. We do not actively monitor the radio and dock attendants are not available. There is no electric service on the docks. For further information regarding dockage at CYCCM please email the Sailing Director at [email protected] or the Rear Commodore at [email protected].

Visiting sailors are also welcome to use our dining facilities. Please contact the Club Assistant Manager, [email protected], who will sign you in our Guest Register.

Approach to the CYCCM dock is outlined in the diagram below. Follow the blue approach line for safe access to the dock. The diagram below outlines the approach but is not to be used for navigation; please use nautical charts for guidance to safe waters in the harbor.

Bicycles can be rented in town, approximately two miles away. The local laundromat is approximately one mile away. Groceries can be purchased at the local store two miles from the Club. From late spring to late fall Cape May is an exciting town to visit. We have excellent restaurants, tourist attractions, and beaches along with a relaxing beach town atmosphere that makes this such a great place to be. Please visit the Cape May Chamber of Commerce website for information on things to do in Cape May.

Please note that during the summer season racing boats have dock preference on the weekends as we have weekly offshore racing events on Saturdays. Between 15 June and 15 September if staying on the docks you must go on your anchor at 1000 Hrs Saturday morning until the fleet has departed the docks. Then at 1430 Hrs you must go on your anchor while the fleet returns and clears the dock area. This usually take 60 to 90 minutes. If no racing is taking place you may remain on the docks.

Visitors who plan to keep their boat in Cape May Harbor for an extended period must contact the Cape May Harbormaster and register their boat on the following link - Cape May Harbormaster link and registration.

We look forward to having you with us!
