Benefits of Membership

Corinthian Yacht Club of Cape May offers something for the whole family. We have sailing and social events for both juniors and adults. Whether it is sailing or enjoying the company of other members at social activities, you will find Corinthian will become a second home for you. When you walk in the door there is always a friendly face to meet you, whether it is our great staff or a fellow member.

The Club offers junior sailing and social activities programs during the summer months, as well as a junior room for our younger sailors. On any summer weekday you can come to the club and see any number of junior sailors on the water, learning to sail and becoming confident in their own abilities. Junior sail boats including Optis, Sunfish, Lasers, and 420s. The junior room gives the younger sailors a place to call their own at the Club and allows them to have their own social activities. During the summer months we have social activities planned weekly for the junior program. Some younger members “live” at the Club during the summer months, showing up in the morning to sail, eating lunch at our snack bar, and then sailing again in the afternoon. It is a fun place to be.

For adults there is a great mix of sailing and social activities, with something for everyone. The Club offers anything from themed parties to bridge luncheons, adult sailing classes to offshore racing events. The Club calendar is always full during the summer. At the peak, the Club is open 5 days a week, with shorter weekly hours in the off season. Anytime from February to December you will find the Club is open at some time during the week. The food and drink never disappoints. Come in, relax, have some laughs, and enjoy the company of others. CYCCM members and staff will become your second family.

The adult sailing season goes from May until November, in a mix of boats including J-24’s, PHRF boats, Flying Scots, Lasers and Sunfish. Sailors race 4 days a week during the summer months, tapering off to the last sailing events of the season, the Oyster Roast regatta in October and Thanksgiving sail in November. If you have never sailed but would like to learn, CYCCM offers complimentary sailing lessons to its members once a week during the summer months. If sailing isn’t for you but you like being on the water, you are always welcome to join us in the harbor or offshore on the Club powerboats to run the races.
